At Waterford Legal Weddings, I specialise in creating unique and personalised wedding ceremonies that honour Irish traditions with a modern twist. As an experienced officiant and trusted wedding professional, I am dedicated to crafting tailored ceremonies for every couple.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the requirements to marry legally in Ireland?

1.Book appointment with Civil Registration Service as soon as possible.

2. Book venue &  Solemniser from the Civil Registration Service.

3.Give notice of intent to marry at least 3 months before date.

4.Bring all relevant documents - & confirm no legal impediment to marriage.

5. Receive the Marriage Registration Form ( MRF) through the postal service.

 

On the wedding day your officiant will solemnise your marriage, the MRF will be signd by both of you,your witnesses & officiant. This must be returned to  Civil Registration Service within 1 month. Marriage certificate will then be issued.
